What goes in the upload file?

Each person's name, an email address, phone number or Payd username, and the amount. We share a template when you sign up.

What if one payment in the list fails?

You see the status of every payment in the run. If one doesn't go through, fix the details and send it again.

Do the people I pay need Payd?

Not to start. They get a message that you paid them and choose where the money goes.
